Pineng 5000mah Powerbank

Ever since I bought myself a new smartphone, the battery life just keep drying up faster and faster with ever more increasing processing power and spending too much time on Facebook and Youtube, I guess.
I had a few Power banks (the big chunks with higher capacity) before but the reason I bought this little piece for 2 reasons, one is to try out how capable is this pocket size portable is able to serve my smartphone and two, I need something small and slim so that it fits in my pocket and bring it along where ever i go without the extra heaviness.

This is a slim type power bank with built-in USB and Lightning adapter cable from PINENG.

There are two colours to choose, either Black or White. The one I'd purchased from Lazada online is Black. The physical body has a checkered patterns surface. The surface despite being black, it does has a somewhat reflective effect which makes it nice to view.
And as the product feature suggested, it requires one to shake to start! and Yes! it does starts once shaken!

As a matter of fact, there are no physical buttons to this device. Only 4 tiny LED blue color lights indicating the remaining of battery life.

At the front, there is a lime green colour strap across in the middle. This is the cable embedded.

Underneath the rubber strap, is the additional adapter lightning connector head for Iphone phones.
There is an extra USB port inside; in the middle. What I would think as to why there is an additional full size USB port (and nope, this is not for charging, because for charging purposes, it uses micro USB port, instead) is because the built-in USB cable might one day, just that one day will give up! and this port shall serve as second life saver to your phone!

So, what if you are using an Iphone? Well, it is quite convenient since this device is thoughtfully furnish with the connector inside. Simply chuck the micro USB into the lightning adapter and....

Voila!....there you have it! Lightning connector is ready.

Attempting and tempting to see how does this small and slim power bank can perform, I charged it to full capacity; meaning until the 4 LED light lit up. (No overnight charging).

Then, I charge it to my phone which has only 5% battery life with 2,900 mAh battery capacity smartphone. Below is the test result.

It took 2 hours and 12 mins to fully charge a 2,900 mAh smartphone's battery.
And how much juice left to the power bank? One LED light left.

Prior to the test, I would presumed 2 LED lights left instead of 1. However, this is the preliminary round. Not sure the performance will gets better after subsequent charging.

For the sake of comparison, I'm putting it side by side with Huawei slim powerbank with also 5,000 mAh capacity. Both are having almost the same thickness size which is 9.0mm (Pineng) vs. 9.3mm (Huawei). While the Pineng weigh about 118g and Huawei weigh 113g.

One can't hardly feel any different on thickness and weight except the Pineng looks a little bit taller and longer than Huawei Powerbank in the same category of power capacity.

Ergonomically, I prefer the Pineng because for 2 reasons, the cable is built-in and the cable is located at the front and NOT by the side (Huawei's USB charging port is fixed to the side).

Here's my 2nd attempt of charging my 2,900mAh phone using the powerbank, the table below is the test result:
